Stephen Hart New York, Obituary, Cause of Death: St. Joseph by-the-Sea High School mourns the loss of Stephen Hart

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Stephen Hart, a beloved and esteemed member of the St. Joseph by-the-Sea faculty since 2009.

His passion for teaching and unwavering dedication to his students made him a pillar of the English Department and an inspiration to all who had the privilege of learning from him.

Beyond the classroom, Mr. Hart was a true supporter of the school community. Whether cheering on our sports teams as their #1 fan or guiding students as a moderator for clubs like Sports Discussion and Creative Writing, he poured his heart into shaping young minds and fostering a love for learning, teamwork, and creativity.

His passing leaves a deep void, not only in the halls of St. Joseph by-the-Sea but in the hearts of his students, colleagues, and all who knew him. As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate the incredible impact he made on our school and the lasting legacy he leaves behind.
