Tranyelle Harshman Byron Obituary, Cause of Death; Brailey, Brooke and Jordan Blackmer killed in Wyoming murder-suicide
The news of Olivia’s passing was confirmed by her stepmother, Katelynn Blackmer, who shared the devastating update on a GoFundMe page created for the family. “Olivia is with her sisters now. She gained her angel wings yesterday at 3:44 p.m.,” she wrote.
“She fought so, so hard up til the last minute! Her body and her brain had been through too much. Medication helped but we reached a point where medical options were exhausted and her body only continued to get worse.”
The family expressed deep gratitude for the time they had with Olivia in her final days. Her stepmother shared how Olivia “kept fighting through until her heart stopped,” allowing loved ones precious moments to say their goodbyes. The Blackmer family is now faced with an unimaginable loss, mourning four young lives taken far too soon.
Authorities provided further details about the horrifying sequence of events that unfolded on February 10. Around 1:30 p.m., dispatchers received a chilling call from 32-year-old Harshman, who reported that she had shot her daughters and believed them to be dead.
In the call, Harshman informed dispatchers that two of her children were in their cribs upstairs, while the other two were in a shared bedroom downstairs. She also stated that she would be found in her own upstairs bedroom, where she intended to take her own life.
Despite the dispatcher’s desperate pleas for Harshman to remain on the line, she repeatedly insisted that it was “too late.” When authorities arrived at the scene, they found the three younger sisters deceased.
Harshman had also sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound but was still alive. She was transported to a medical facility for treatment. The motives behind her actions remain unclear, and the investigation into the tragedy is ongoing.
