Brentwood Shooting: Stabbing Suspect, Woman Hurt on Lost Hollow Drive in Brentwood, TN

At approximately 1:17 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, Brentwood Police received a 911 call reporting a man stabbing a woman on Lost Hollow Drive. Officers responded immediately to the scene.

Before law enforcement arrived, a neighbor armed with a handgun confronted the suspect. Despite attempting to intervene physically, the neighbor could not stop the attack. In front of multiple witnesses, he then shot the suspect several times.

Brentwood Police, along with Brentwood Fire and Rescue and EMS, quickly arrived at the location. Both the suspect and the victim were transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center. The woman is expected to recover, while the suspect underwent surgery for life-threatening injuries.

No charges have been filed at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
